When you go to reuse the screws for the speaker guard and bracket, you will be left with one extra hole. The USDM stock plastic cover has one less screw than the GT-86 kit. It's not a deal-breaker, but just be aware. The fit is VERY much plug and play. Super easy stuff to match and screw down.

Yes, the cushion is essentially for looks, but the stock plastic is so harsh that I'd rather have these parts anyways. I can justify my purchase in many different ways, but essentially if you want something that you can ram your knee against that feels like a pillow, these aren't it. I've never had a car that's offered knee protection, so I find these to be sufficient. I just need to be less clumsy, I figure! hahaha
