Sounds like an easy way for dealers to make $ (and Toyota/Scion to save some) by making HIDs optional in the US
just my 2cents.
Either way, I will be getting them.
On a related note, if you look at this chart, it says the low spec comes without fog lights, but the car in the video has them, so I guess they will be optional even for the low spec (In Japan, that is)
