My dad was a salesman at Lexus since 1994, and was continuously one of the best in the Midwest. They sent him to Chicago like 3 times a year to learn about the cars. It still amazes me how much he knows about the cars now that he is the financial manager. It's the knowledge that he had that kept his customers happy and coming back to him. He'll tell you why the 1998 GS400 had paddle shifters and why they went away. Go ask any other Lexus salesman that question and I guarantee they won't know. Of course I'm a little biased because he's my father, but he showed with his success and customer support that he knows a ton about what he is selling.
