Salesmen need to learn the products they are selling as well as the competitor's offerings. I shopped a 12' Hyundai Accent for my sister and I knew more about the car (after 30 minutes of internet research) than the salesman showing me the car. We live in an information age, I don't see why salesmen don't know much about their product. We might as well just start skipping the salesman and start going straight to the manager and financing dept.
