We are sitting 20 years later, everything can be improved. In my opinion what is nice about older vehicles such as my corolla, is that you can change basically everything in the car safety wise and not get fix it tickets. If you want a nardi, you put in a nardi, where as with my subaru you leave the stock wheel unless you want to be written up or have that possibility.
