So I've been running the turbo kit for about 6000 miles now. Recently we stepped up the pace and have been testing and tuning at 8psi. This has brought power up to the 265-275whp range with 225-230ft/lbs of torque on 92 octane pump gas. It's a lot of fun. But a bit too much fun for the clutch, which is starting to slip in 6th gear on the freeway.
The car hasn't been babied - much - as all the drift practice videos can testify. I've also been doing a lot of dyno runs and other testing in various situations, so it's not exactly a surprise. But if you were interested in knowing where the limits of the clutch are, it's right about that 8~8.5psi point.
It's not stopping us, just will be taking it easy till the new clutch goes in.
