Opinions in for sale threads?
I'm interested in other people's thoughts on this, Given we have a specific "For Sale/Classifieds" section and a regional forum, I've always believed that this (the general forum) is for opinions, and the classified forum is for buying and selling.
I've noticed a few for sale threads have ended up with people's opinions of the product being sold which is annoying for the seller and takes the thread off topic.
Unless the product is illegal, unsafe, or blatantly doesn't/won't/can't do what the seller is claiming then unless you are either interested in the product or have a genuine question about condition, why not keep the opinions here in the regular forum?
I know this is the internet and all, but classifieds is classifieds not "Please give me your opinion of what I have for sale". There are a squillion other places on this very site where your opinion is relevant (or may be), will increase (or decrease) your e-penis, and you can tell everyone your sage thoughts on XYZ supercharger, or exhaust, or wheels.
