So why is it harder to see red cars like our own? From what I understand, they are easier to see when you are looking at them, however it is much easier to miss them when its in your peripheral vision (less color sensitivity). In talking with a couple of CHP officers, apparently white is actually the most pulled over color. Just because it's the easiest to see in every condition that isn't a snowstorm.
