Ummm, yeah it's pretty much always true nowadays. If I'd waited for the 2005 STi, I would have gotten 5x114, 17x8" BBS, a stereo, floor mats, etc.

If I'd waited for the 2007 STi, I woulda gotten it less high-wing and all of the goodies in the Limited Edition.

If I'd waited for the 2008 STi, I woulda gotten a hatch. Where my heart really was all along.

But I got the '04 and enjoyed everyday that I had it for over 7 years.

The only time this doesn't make sense is if a vehicle dies. A la Saabaru. If I'd wanted a "new" 06 I woulda been SOL as it only ran for 04-05MY's.
