I didn't know you were a former 44 guy. I learned to drive in an
'87 944S and then later moved on to an '89 951. Loved them both dearly and spent way too much money modifying them.
My dad is at Roebling this weekend club racing with PCA in his SP3 classed 944S2 which we just recently swapped a short 5th gear into the LSD transaxle. He said it's awesome now and keeps pulling down the straights in 5th. I can't wait to drive it later on at a DE.
