Hey guys/gals,
I've been following the news for both of the cars for a while now here in these threads but thought I would finally join. I come from a 06 S2K and my wife currently has a 04 350z. I loved my S2K and find no other car (affordable that is) can compare to it. I don't have the car anymore as it was sold since we had to have at least one car that was more than a 2-seater.
Anyhow, I have very high expectations of this car and I hope it doesn't disappoint. I've read reviews that these cars (FR-S/BRZ) are comparable to the Cayman in handling. I really hope that is true since I really only care about handling! I've never driven a Cayman but the other site I am a member of (s2ki.com) mentions how the most comparable car to the S2K handling is the Cayman (not sure if its better or not). I've been looking for something affordable and comparable since I sold the S (
). I'm hoping to sell the wife's Z and pick this up (Dont' worry she agrees)
. I would really like the STI or TRD version depending on who trumps who in terms of handling, design, and aesthetics.
Sorry, for the long post but the images and specs thus far seem great and I won't be able to fully make up my mind until I actually test drive one. :happy0180:
