IMHO, power for power turbocharged cars always feel faster in out right acceleration simply because of the way the power comes in. It's like casual cruising, you mash the accelerator and then WHOA there it is. With an NA car of equal power the power is always there so you don't have a chance to really notice the surge like you do with a t/c.
