The CEL flashed, the codes didn't come on until the end, at which point he stopped driving it. I commend him for even noticing the flashes, most people don't pay attention to their gauges except for a few spots on the track (straights to get temps, fuel, etc).

I've had CEL's come on during track use too, so have others. If it just flashed for me I'd be curious but if it went back off right away I'd keep driving too. Heck if the light doesn't stay on you can't read the code with a normal reader IIRC on these (Honda's you def can't) so what else would you do?

Once the CEL lit and stayed on he stopped driving.

I had CEL's this last sunday too, coil park related (351). Need to stop by Subaru to see if there's anything else but they went away by themselves so far.
