As a new car salesman of nearly 2 years, I found this video a bit exaggerated but otherwise pretty much on point. Cars cost a lot of money, they're very complex, and not everyone can handle the transaction of paying for or financing, registering and insuring, and figuring out how to use the bloody things, so that's why car salesmen exist. We're not there to make the buying process harder or more expensive. Buying a car is not as easy as throwing down a credit card to buy a new cell phone on bestbuy.com, mailing in your old phone for a $50 rebate, getting it in the mail a week later, and figuring it out as you go along. I hope by watching this, some of you might gain just a *little* more appreciation for what we do. You don't have to love us, just don't hate us!

Of course there are people who perpetuate the "sleezy", "lazy", or otherwise "plain ol' stupid" stereotypes. I strongly encourage you to tell those people how much they suck, and that they need to get their $#!t together or find a new career.
