I just want to know what the pricing on the r-spec / track is going to be w/what options. And same for the FRS/BRZ. Power-to-weight ratios are pretty equal aren't they?

This might sound stupid, but I can't really "picture" the sensation of driving two different cars with the equivalent power/weight of another car, with one being heavy but massive power and one being super light but not really powerful. For example, my G35 coupe has bolt-ons and is automatic so I'm guessing i'm lucky if I have high 200s, maybe low 300s, to the wheels, but it's really heavy. Will the FR-S feel "faster" because it's lighter, or will the "lack" of power override that? Does that make sense?
I would say that in a straight line the more power the faster you would be no matter the power to weight ratio. The weight comes into play in the corners. Less power + Less weight = less stress on the tires = more laps with more grip = more fun. It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than to drive a fast car slow. Having owned 4 miatas I fully understand that concept. In the end it all depends on what you want in the car and what you decide to do with it.

There is a video around of a Miata frustrating a Viper on a small track.
