As a fan of roadsters and a New Englander, if it has quattro I would without a doubt go for the TT if it's in my price range. I love the styling of the current gen TT! My next car is going to be either this or a Z4 (Maybe a 370Z or 2##Z).
Both cars will definitely be fun, don't let that be the defining factor! I have driven the new TT and it is an awesome car and I wish I could afford it. You get precise handling, very comfy seats, good throttle response, and lots of power, (among other things).
Sure, we can all be armchair judges and tell you to get a used Cayman or 911 or whatever but how often will be able to find one with low miles, correct pricing, well kept, etc. such as the Audi TTS? You have the TTS in your grasp.
You have two great cars to choose from. If it's in your price range, I'd go with the TTS.
