EDIT: I'm not exactly sure, but the marketing material for the Takeda exhaust only indicate using 304SS for the tips. This probably means they're using 409SS or worse for the rest of the system. 400-series stainless with a lot of road salt will definitely end up with rust over time. 300-series stainless should not, unless it's contaminated with some iron on the surface which you can clean off.
