Did this today, procedure was the same although a little awkward due to right hand drive, the clutch pedal isn't on a cam, the cylinder is directly above the pedal and kind of has like a housing around it. It was pretty slippery too, had to wipe it with a rag before I could get grip with just my fingers.
As per the rest of the post, once the small 12mm hex was loosened, I simply pushed clutch in and out until the master cylinder rod would twist, and gave it two and a half full turns (or so) until it was 1mm below the brake pedal, then adjusted the 14mm bolts for the sensor.
