wow i dont understand how the FT86 concept seems like the most outrageous and expensive concept ever for an economical/cheap/entry level car???????? everything is big - brakes, wheels, carbon fiber, fender flares. do they think that people are going to pay $20k for the base and $40k for the G sports?

looks like Toyota is engineering initial D tax into the new ae86. I'll be satisfied when i see a real concept with no carbon fiber and expensive materials and outrageous wheel sizes

One thing that is promising however is just like the TRD/Toyota support for the AE86 the FT86 is getting MAJOR LOVE from Toyota. This seems to show that they've SPENT MAJOR MONEY on it and IT MUST be successful.
