I have a dumb question, is it possible to tether my smart phone by usb cable to the head unit? I do this at work on a desk top for internet access using Easy Tether.
I believe with my data plan on my phone I have to pay extra to make my phone a wifi hot spot.
I know there are wifi apps to do without paying, but hear cell providers can cut you off if caught using them.
Am I worrying to much? having the cell phone tethered does allow charging and most people probably would plug their cell phones in while running the apps on the head unit so why not just connect by tethering?
