The term "roadster" may include convertibles in general in German, I'm not sure. In the US the term is reserved only for convertibles with 2 seats, I think. The MR-S is the only production roadster I can think of to ever wear a Toyota badge unless you count the targa-topped Toyota Sports 800 as a roadster. The Supra is a coupe BTW.
The use of the term "roadster" may also imply the FT-86 may need to sacrifice the rear seats in order to store the retractable top, which I hope is not the case.
