I think the only difference between the Super Sport coilovers for the FR-S and the AL+ units on that specific S2000 above is the fact that the AL+ is aluminum body versus steel as EarlQHan mentioned. Nothing internally different besides the unit being developed for an S2000 versus our cars.
But I do see where you are coming from about showcasing some of their higher level coilovers on proven cars. I think they are doing this just to showcase the brand and that they do have a proven reputation and history, since compared to many other reputable suspension companies, they have not been around as long, and many people are not aware of them. Brand Awareness.
With the popularity of our chassis though, it may only be a matter of time before we see them producing some of their higher level systems for our cars =D, or at least we can hope!
