To the OP. It's easy for an e-brake to be out of alignment - it's not a huge issue but will destroy one set of your pads faster than the other side. It's not the use of your e-brake that is doing anything what is happening is your e-brake is constantly putting tension on the calliper thus engaging the calliper on to the rotor while you are driving. That is where the wear is coming from. This is a common issue amongst all disc brake cars so don't be too concerned.
Well... that escalated quickly.
