Seņor Dog, I asked this question weeks ago. I don't think we have any firm info on it yet.
Would be cool if it were direct.
But since we now know that, in this "front-mid-engine" design, the engine on the FT-86 actually sits in the trunk of the car ahead of you, the tranny not might reach back far enough to go with anything other than a linkage set-up.
