Yes, the power starts to flatten out at 7000-7200 and then tapers at 7500 depending on what type of fuel and how much timing is added. It is not wise to rev a motor past its powerband. We always set the rev limiter higher just to sample it on the dyno and then go back and set our limits.
We are working on some cams to test and hopefully make this thing breath past 7500 effortlessly.
