I just put a deposit down yesterday on a car coming in around the 2/25. We agreed on a price of $89 over invoice. This was a Premium with 1A and a spoiler, which puts invoice at $25,796 and MSRP at $27,255. I'm having to catch a 2 hour flight, and drive 8.5 hours home, but it's worth it, since there are no BRZ's in the Kansas City area, and the only ones coming in are Limiteds that will sell at MSRP. I guess the market for the BRZ has cooled off in some places...
I was just about to buy an FR-S (there are plenty of those around town), until I had a chance to test drive a BRZ just before someone else came in and bought it. I believe Scion dealers can't deviate from the Pure Price, which means this BRZ is going to cost me $111 more than a comparably equipped (with spoiler) FR-S. Getting HID's and standard Navigation for $111 is a no-brainer in my book. Plus, I'm 37, and even though it's just a name, Scion still seems like a young kid's car to me...
