Even if the Dealership offered me FREE oil changes for 10 years.. i'd still change my own oil.. all it takes is one goof up by some incompetent worker, and your car can be ruined for life.
Example, a friend of mine took his Corolla into the Dealership for one of his "free" oil changes.. they forgot to put the oil cap back on, and as he drove it home, oil gacked out all over the engine bay & underside of the hood.
Yes, the dealership cleaned it up (as much as they could). And yes, there was no problem with the car mechanically afterwards... but I would hate my car (and dealership) forever if that ever happened to my car.
