With a full car 2+2 up and boot full of stuff it may have had too much rear weight for almost all drivers - As almost everyone thinks they are a better driver than they actually are.

53/47 is with two front seat occupants according to the tech info scan.
Fuel and such will change it some but not that much most likely.
