racecar engineering or race tech did an aero feature on this (in a tunnel) and putting the exhaust there took all the downforce out of the center section of the diffuser and even compromised the outer two sections...
they moved the exhaust to above the diffuser exiting right of the plate/tag sealled the hole in the diffuser and picked up 20 points of down for one of drag iirc
the elise/exige also have flat floors infront of the diffuser Not our "86's"
