The tune is tied to the license yes. BUT here is what will happen. FA20 can take that same tune, modify it with the new owner license. It be exactly Joeboxer's tune, but modified to be "flashable" only with he new owner license/vin.
It is NOT that Joe will give him the file by email and the guy will be able to flash it (that would not work), FA20 HAS to modify it and it will be delivered by FA20, not Joe.  |
Gotcha, that makes sense now. In other words, transfer of tunes is at the discretion of the tuner. Good on FA20 for helping Joe out!
