Considering that the R-Spec 3.8 GC is in the $27k range, I can't agree with people saying that the GC V6 is in a totally different price range than the FR-S/BRZ. Because it doesn't look like it's going to be. And with the 2.0T being close to $22k for the base, that's a hard deal to beat.
Also, the GC comes with a 10 year 100k mile power-train warranty (for people wanting their car to last them 10+ years.) That's a pretty good deal. The tC and other Toyotas/Scions come with a 5 yr 60k mile warranty, I can't see the FR-S being any different. Just something to keep in mind.

The 3.8 Rspec will be priced closely with the Japanese duo.
