I have a nice way that I use to explain it to people. My brother and I both have lotus 7's. They both have 1600 motors (mines Ford and his is Toyota) except his is turbo'd. In a straight line his car munches mine (if you can get traction it's probably a 4 sec 0-100). Both only weigh about 600kg and have NO driver aids.
But every time I visit him, he wants to drive my car and always tells me to sell it to him. Why? Because it's way more fun. My car has a track set up so handles well like an 86 but also with my car you can put your foot flat in any gear and use the full power of the car. Also because it's NA its WAY less scary and you dont need to worry about the boost coming in mid corner etc.
Sometimes less power is a whole lot more.
