My name is David Thomas and I'm the managing editor at Cars.com. I joined the forum because we added a 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited to our long-term test fleet last week. This is a car we purchased ourselves, not a loan from an automaker and we'll be detailing the next year on our blog

We bought the BRZ because we named it and the FR-S our "Best of 2013" aka our Car of the Year.
I'm a longtime forum user and understand the fine line between self-promotion and adding to a community conversation. I plan on respecting the forum rules but think our coverage would be of value to others here. We just ran our first mileage report for example and have already gotten winter tires.
