Wait I had no idea the 3S-GE was that powerful...REALLY? shit.
I don't know how much room the "FA20" has in terms of revs. I am calculating a rod-stroke ratio of 1.55 (factoring increased compression), which is okay, but engines revving to 8000 tend to have a higher ratio.
I hope they sort out some sort of low restriction catalytic converter, or something. Maybe the problem is that Toyota wants SULEV II or whatever rating for this, when they don't have to score that high. Then there's the option of switching out stuff so it only meets the bare minimum.
