Let's put this into perspective. Back in their day, an old Celica or 240Z weren't cheap cars. Adjusted for inflation and current average wages, they were more expensive than an RX8 is today.
The BRZ will be cheaper than an RX8. Much cheaper.
It will cost about half what a 135i costs and much less than half an M1.
It will be less than a third the price of an Evora and about a quarter what an Evora S or TT RS costs.
You'd be able to buy at least 7 or 8 BRZs for around the same as what a base model 911 sets you back.
It will be a cheap car. Cheaper in the USA, but seriously what isn't? There's got to be a reason anyone stays there.
If you're whinging about the price, it's because you can afford to buy a keyboard, but not a new sports car. Buy an old sports car or a new Hyundai.
