Quite funny, one of my mates bought up the power and torque figures (I blurted them to him as soon as I found out), and he too then rattled on about how the Beams 3S made more power and it's 15 years old. Have to admit, he has a point! The Beams 3S is a pretty good engine, mind you.
Meeting that kind of performance standard with todays emissions requirements is another story though. DAMN EMISSIONS! Haha.
I love turbo cars but I'm not disappointed at all that the FT86 gets a relatively high comp NA. Will still be really fun to drive.
Few light mods to remove those emissions reducing measures and I have faith it'll be an impressive engine in terms of power:displacement ratio. I think it'll challenge some of the older turbo cars too.
