I haven't had to deal with EcuTek directly. Luckily I bought my cable and license from Visconti, so he has been helping me through this ordeal. What pisses me off is the EcuTek software failing during a reflash and not giving me a useful error message as to the reason. When you are doing something as important as a reflash, then the program just failing in the middle and not telling me why is idiotic. Not having the ability to attempt to start the flash again or to restart where the flash left off is idiotic. Instead all it does is tell me that I have a partially programmed ECU. I also hate the fact that they take my license prior to the reflash so if it fails I now have no license and an ECU that doesn't work with no way to fix it. I had to contact John to get a new license each time I wanted to attempt another reflash. I wish I had just said fuck EcuTek in the beginning and spent the money to order Hydra and tuned the car myself. I might go with BRZEdit now that it is out as well, just to get away from EcuTek.
