I beg to differ.
I owned a 92 blk NSX with a tan interior for a couple of years. My BRZ is the first 'sports' car I've had since the nsx. On my first BRZ drive around the neighborhood after it came off the truck, the sharp handling reminded me so much of my beloved NSX that a whole bunch of fond memories returned.
I'll just summarized the pros and cons:
- BRZ/FRS far easier to maintain, cost, front vs mid mounts
- BRZ/FRS has more room, rear seats, e.g.
- NSX's driving position, interior, low dashboard layout is almost supreme
- NSX's passenger has less leg room due to the subwoofer
- NSX's high speed handling is outstanding, the car's limits were much higher than mine
- NSX don't have HID, BT, nav, aux input, heated seats e.g.
- NSX's power is ok, an M3 would kick its arse but it will kick the BRZ/FRS's arse
- NSX's rears tires would go out in 15k or less miles
- NSX is handmade and is largely aluminiam so expect soft handmade panel finishes e.g.
Oh yeah, I was constantly scrapping the NSX's front-end.
My vote: swap the NSX for a BRZ Limited !
