I agree, race fuel is going to be awesome.. but I'm not going to be running race fuel when I'm commuting to work... Ethanol will allow you to run very similar compression/psi to race fuel. Or that is what I gather from my rudimentary knowledge... Based on what I have seen in the platform I currently drive, E85 is good for up to 40whp more than 91 and race gas is good for about 10-15whp more than E85. C16>E85>91 in my opinion/experience...

All this means nothing if the tuning can't be done on a stand alone or piggy back though.
