I LIKE this car. I tell everybody I know who has one that it was a GOOD purchase. I know that only true "gear heads" would drive this car long term. I plan on keeping it LONG TERM. Honestly, there was a big part of me that agreed with the review by Dezoris because it hit home in many ways. I could have just as easily bought something else, but this was the most unadulterated car I could find in the price range that would be easily suitable for modding without feeling bad about how much money I spent at the end of the day. I could have easily bought a Cobra and been happy with the way it was from the factory, but where is the fun in that?
Anyways, before anybody labels me an asshole for life (I hope not, lol).. I just wanted to clear this up.

Nah, I don't think anyone hates you. Maybe the older guys are just used to life throwing curveballs and don't see it as a big deal. Poor Boeing: the whole fleet of 787 Dreamliners are grounded because of lithium ion batteries. The F22 Raptor sometimes has problems with its oxygen systems, causing some Air Force pilots to black out. Nikon's flaship D800 DSLR has issues with one of its focus points that doesn't work. They sent five months of production of a 3,000 dollar camera down the assembly line with this problem. Apple, for the second time in a month, shut down Java on all Macs because Oracle can't fix their product. I need Java to do work each night. I found some Unix commands that reenabled Java on my machine. Workarounds are just part of life.
