The binding doesn't happen in stock form, only when you lower the car past a certain point (I believe it's 25mm which is about 1") the rear sway bar is pre-loaded all the time, and also the end links for the sway bar are at an awkward angle which will cause the binding and premature wear of the endlink bushings. I ran my car for about 500 miles with the binding, and when I took off the stock endlinks and replaced them with the Perrin adjustable ones, I could see the stock ones were getting abnormal wear on the bushings and the rubber was starting to crack/tear.
