It could be argued that the production Camaro followed the prototype
too slavishly. It's received constant criticism for its poor visibility due to its style-first bunker-slit greenhouse. When I sat in it I couldn't believe a GM exec actually signed off on such an unsafe design (and no I am not unduly short - 5'11" actually).
