I will keep and have fun with it may be 3 - 4 - 5 years and then another sports car will come out on the market and I will want to change to be up to date again.

Will I get more monney for my car when I will want to sell it because I have a JDL headers on it instead of a borla ? Not a penney more.

In those conditions, I dont see why the borla would fall apart after 2-3 years only and why I should spend more monney to get a headers that will be better than something already pretty good.

Peoples who track theirs cars put a lot of stress on them and may look at something stronger but otherwise for the big majority Borla have quality products that will respond/meet our expectation.

JDL is trying to justify why they will ask a lot more monney for their headers and he said that he even tought the Borla wasnt in stainless steel. JDL is an artist and Borla is a big company with experience, knowledge and big factory behind them and they can produce in mass, scale economy that's it.

This is from the Borla Website :

Each system is built from premium austenitic stainless steel, superior to T-400 series knockoffs, to give you the absolute best in performance and durability. Ultra-smooth mandrel bends ensure maximum flow and power, and precision computer-controlled CNC manufacturing ensures an accurate fit. Best of all, BORLA stands behind every system with a Million-Mile Warranty. Just what you'd expect from the world's most experienced (and most winning) exhaust brand.
Okay, so your car sees weather (water), and is exposed to the outdoor elements which allows it to rust.

"This product is intended for "off-road" use only and not eligible for Borla's warranty. Please check with your local state laws to see how removal of the primary cat may affect you.:

Straight from FT-86 Speedfactory's site, an authorized Borla dealer.

You do realize Borla writes that message on like half their products to make you think it falls under their warranty? Read the fine print.

Borla was the first to jump on the UEL header market and I don't think it is a terrible choice for the price point. I just think when you see the other headers with different tubing and better collectors, there will be a difference.

You're probably right, this product will suit a good number of individuals who want this for daily driving and street performance. I was even considering it at one point, but there's no "in depth" R&D that Borla shared about this header at all. They just simply said, "Here's a UEL header, it sounds AWESOME" and that's about it along with throwing a dyno chart.

It's more believable when you see the stages of header development from companies like JDL and Nameless that go very in depth technically with all the aspects of the header. Even though you may not understand all of it, you do to some extent and they give reasoning why they did this, and that, and not that, etc.

Sorry to go off topic so much, this thread is about the Borla UEL header, it does sound amazing, and I hope I am proven wrong about everything I've said. This header does sound amazing and I am sure it will work out well for anyone who buys it from FT-86 Speedfactory.
