I dont understand why you think it is a down side that something is done by a machine because machines dont do mistakes. Machines are equal in their movement and building quality, capacity. Machines dont knows when it is friday PM. Machines will never be distract be anything. A well programmed machine will make the job just perfect like you want to.

For example: Have your car painted by somebody and you will probably find something somewhere you dont like. No job made by human is perfect.

Take an oem paint done by machines and the result is very hard to beat no matter which paint shop you will go. I know by experience, I tried a lot of them with good reputation and the result is never like the factory.

Something created by hand is unique, a piece of art but doesnt means better than something created at scale necessary. Just different.

Perhaps JDL or others small headers shop will comes with a better flow solution than the Borla, times will tell.

Everything is possible but at which cost and for how big of a difference.
