One thing that was annoying me right from the first time I drove my FRS - that it aint had ANY Armrest. Sooooo - it was time to create something. And I started prototyping custom armrest with cup holder and hinges to open it up. This is just the mock up - still finalizing shape and how it will work.
This is how it will open up. Now I need to figure out how to mount it to the center console - and give it to reupholstery shop and it will be done.

When I pictured how I would do a custom arm rest. This is what I pictured. Cant wait to see how it turns out.
Dont forget to leave a space for a cord.
