This is the agency that can call for a recall if this is not an isolated event. What would have happened if two small kids where in the back in their car seats??? Could they have gotten out in time??? |
Might be a bit early for reporting to NHTSA since cause seems to be mechanic's error. But certainly can be done after litigation if need be.
