They seem to work ok, but, without deep grooves like a Pant Saver car mat, the accumulated salty snow gets on your pants somewhat. The good part is that they fit perfectly and lock in place. Unfortunately, most back seat car mats are good big (yes, I actually put my kids in the back). I am happy that we at least get some all weather car mats. I keep them in all year round.
