Every system of this car has been subject to a massive shock (or two) that it wasn't designed for, be careful with any swapping of moving or safety-related parts.

Actually, I believe you are right about one thing. If I'm not mistaken there is an airbag within the seat? I believe that went off.

I don't think you are right by saying that the systems (especially safety) weren't designed for this sort of incident. The car took the impact very well, and the driver walked away unharmed. In my opinion, the safety systems did exactly what they are designed for, a massive shock.
