My insurance once jumped 52$ for a 15mph over 7 years ago.. The biggest factor here wasn't tires or anything like that.. It was speed.. You claim on the first page no one would let you merge.. Yet later said you was doing 70.. To me there seems no reason to be doing 70, and if I read and understood right, 70 on the shoulder where the people were.. Lowering your car looks cool, but you just seen what can happen.. And your here saying your going to do the exact same thing.. If you was indeed doing about 40 when you hit.. What are bumper made for now.. Still 25 or 30 mph now?? You car was the stock height chances are you replacing some crush mounts and bumper .. Bumper cover and a few more things..
