You decreased the height of the impact zones which are set to be at relatively the same height on all cars, so when you collide, it hits specific zones. This means the car was illegal, and should not have been driven, and if the insurance company wanted to, or knew, they could drop you as a policy holder leaving you with the bill. Im only saying this so you know what could happen and can take that into account on the next car. Im very sorry for the loss of the car.

That said, im glad every one is ok in this. But please be extremely careful when modifying your car. We found out the hard way.
